The Wigwam Inn is located in the heart of Indian River Park aobut 20 miles from Vancouver at the head of the North Arm of Burrard Inlet. Built as a strictly modern hostelry, the Inn was designed to harmonize with the surroundings of Indian River Park. Among the many forms of recreation were bathing, hunting, fishing, mountain climbing, tennis and badminton. It was the rendezvous of the Royal Vancouver Yacht Club and the Vancouver Rowing Club. Today it is privately owned by the Yacht Club and not open to the public.
